My name is Fenton Thompson I am originally from Ocala, FL I am currently living in Atlanta, GA and I graduated from Georgia State University in May 2012. My current series of work is called Black Noise. The Black noise series is a retrospection of the works I have created over a span of four years. This body of work based upon the theme of the biblical story of The Tower of Babel. In the story all nations shared the same language and one speech to attempt to build a monument that exceeds heaven

Vocalist, Actor

I strive to construct a cross-generational aesthetic that narrates our perceived version of past, present and future by exposing what often can only be expressed visually. My thoughts of ascension, progress and awareness despite adversity are inspired by diverse references.

Mrs. Lester decided to take art classes in 2006. Only to learn creating art was talent that came very naturally to her. Over the years, painting has become a meditative art that allows Mrs. Lester to relax and slow down. It is from this place of calm she creates meaningful moments she values.

LaVerne McCall quilts pays homage to her mother Virginia Neal and Grandmother Willie Murdock's craftmanship. Over the last 10 years, she has been quilting in order to maintain and pass on the tradition taught to her by her mother.

Safiya Neal began painting in 2005; however, credits classes at the Art Institute of Las Vegas for teaching her how to draw. Miss Neal has been featured in N Magazine as the profiled artist of the month. A working mom with 4 beautiful children, Miss Neal discusses the challenges of making time to paint. Nonetheless, she holds the vision to become an Art Teacher for children diagnosed with autism. She encourages people to not be afraid of color but live in color.

Karen Turner is a native of Nashville, TN and has been involved in photography since 2001. She captures subjects in their simplest form allowing the audience to experience the pure essence of her work. Her interest in photography started her senior year of college after taking a Photography 101 course as an elective. This class not only opened her eyes to the world of photography through a camera lens but also to the darkroom and it’s endless creative possibilities.

Imani Z. Clements is tired of labels. If I must be labeled, say I am an artist from the way I eat my cereal to the way I paint my toenails. Lead by example.
